Per Diem Pharmacist in Charlotte, NC

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide essential PRN coverage in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved populations in Charlotte, NC. This role supports the clinic during call-offs, PTO, and vacation periods, averaging approximately two shifts per month. The position operates using the PioneerRx system and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with no weekends required.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, counseling patients, and collaborating closely with a small pharmacy team operating in a one Pharmacist/one Technician environment. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused and comfortable navigating the unique challenges of an FQHC/340B pharmacy setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current North Carolina Pharmacist license (required)
• 1 to 3 years of pharmacist experience, preferably within an FQHC or community health clinic
• Experience working with underserved patient populations is highly valued
• Ability to work independently in a small team setting
• Spanish language skills are a plus; the pharmacy technician is Spanish-speaking, and bilingual pharmacists have an advantage
