Staff Pharmacist - Folsom, California

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician position at a busy 400-bed hospital located in Folsom, CA. The role involves working 8-hour second shifts starting at either 1 pm or 3 pm. This contract assignment begins ASAP and has a duration of 13 weeks or more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing and preparing medications in an inpatient hospital setting
• Support the preparation of intravenous (IV) medications (preferred)
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and safe medication delivery

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required
• Experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician strongly preferred
• Prior IV medication preparation experience highly desirable
• Ability to work 2nd shifts reliably and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
