Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Leander, TX

A pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem pharmacist to provide critical coverage at their Leander, TX location. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with strong experience in retail pharmacy operations and dispensing medications. The position uses Pioneer Rx software and offers technician support on-site to assist in daily pharmacy functions.

Responsibilities include accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. The pharmacist will work flexible per diem hours, supporting the pharmacy’s needs during peak times or staff shortages.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Experience working as a staff or retail pharmacist
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, ideally Pioneer Rx
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
