Retail Pharmacist in Morrisonville, NY

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to oversee and manage pharmacy operations in a dynamic setting. This direct hire role offers a leadership position focused on regulatory compliance, team management, and patient-centered care, including immunization services.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable schedule with evening shifts required at times
• Typical schedules: 4x10 or 4x12 shifts (e.g., 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain pharmacy registration with the state board as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist-in-charge
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations
• Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, inventory, scheduling, and third-party administration to meet financial goals
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to performance standards and regulatory policies
• Participate in community and store business development activities
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects
• Provide patient care services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs
• Promote continuous quality improvement and maintain patient safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with legal and company standards
• Complete required continuing education and participate in other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines
