Per Diem Retail Immunizing Staff Pharmacist | Parlier, California

Per Diem Pharmacists are needed to provide reliable retail pharmacy coverage across multiple locations near Fresno, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated float team supporting well-managed pharmacies with experienced technician assistance. The focus is on delivering high-quality patient care in medium to high volume settings.

Location:

• Parlier, CA, and surrounding communities within a 30-40 minute commute of Fresno, including Reedley, Sanger, Selma, Kerman, and Orange Cove. Additional sites with mileage reimbursement include Huron, Earlimart, and Mendota.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday (no weekends)
• Approximately 2-3 shifts per week, averaging 20 shifts per month

Responsibilities:

• Manage retail pharmacy operations efficiently, handling medium to high volume prescriptions
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and float team members
• Utilize pharmacy software Rx30 for daily tasks
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies
• Support COVID-19 safety protocols, including UHC site COVID card requirements
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Participate in recruitment calls to retail stores when needed

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency in Rx30 software highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a float team
• Spanish-speaking skills are a strong plus but not mandatory
• Valid California pharmacist license
