A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to support a small long-term care (LTC) pharmacy in Wisconsin. This role focuses on providing relief coverage to assist with vacation coverage and workload fluctuations at a tightly operated facility.

Location:

  • Mauston, Wisconsin (121 E. State Street, Mauston, WI 53948)
  • Reedsburg, WI area

Schedule:

  • Dates needed: March 23 through March 27, 2026
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and package medication accurately for long-term care patients
  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory and organize deliveries to facilities
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality assurance standards
  • Utilize pharmacy technology efficiently, including electronic frameworks
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin
  • Proven experience working in long-term care pharmacy settings
  • Familiarity with Framework pharmacy software is highly desirable; training available if needed
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
