An opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy setting in the Reno, NV area. This position requires a strong, self-reliant professional able to navigate staffing transitions confidently and provide excellent patient care.
This role is contract-based with a duration of 13 weeks, starting on January 19. The schedule includes Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates must be immunization certified and have solid retail pharmacy experience. Proficiency or willingness to train on ERx pharmacy software is required.
Key qualifications:
- Current, clear Nevada pharmacist license
- Immunization certification
- Proven retail pharmacy background with strong operational skills
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent patient communication
- Provide immunizations as required
- Manage pharmacy workflow during busy staffing changes
- Use ERx software system effectively for prescription processing
