Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Round Rock, Texas

A pharmacy is seeking experienced Staff Pharmacists to provide per diem coverage at a retail location. This is an immediate need to support the team and maintain a priority partnership with the site.

Location:

• Round Rock, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• Tuesday, 12/9/25, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, 12/10/25, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, 12/11/25, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, 12/12/25, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Systems & Support:

• Pioneer Rx software is used for dispensing and pharmacy management
• Pharmacy technician support will be available during shifts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience working in retail pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with retail prescription processing and patient counseling
• Fully onboarded pharmacists preferred due to immediate coverage requirement
• Ability to work within established protocols and collaborate with pharmacy staff

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions using Pioneer Rx system
• Counsel patients on medication use and safety
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and corporate policies
• Maintain inventory and manage workflow efficiently during shift
