Join a dynamic pharmacy team providing essential services in a food and pharmacy setting in Scottsdale, AZ. This per diem opportunity supports a network of pharmacies operating Monday through Saturday, generally from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m. The role offers flexible scheduling to cover call-outs, vacations, and volume spikes, ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time engagement of 2 to 4 days per week.
Responsibilities include delivering efficient retail pharmacy services in a high-volume environment averaging 100 to 125 prescriptions daily. You will collaborate with a strong technician team and utilize QS1 pharmacy software for operations management. A comprehensive initial training shift of eight hours is provided, with additional training opportunities available as needed.
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Licensed pharmacist with at least 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred for higher compensation
- Immunization privileges and current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with QS1 is advantageous, although not mandatory
- Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and locations within the Phoenix area
Location:
- Scottsdale, AZ, with most pharmacies within a reasonable commuting distance from the greater Phoenix area
- Travel support available for locations beyond a commutable range, including mileage reimbursement, meal stipends, and hotel accommodations if needed
