This opportunity is for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires a confident pharmacist who can navigate a busy site undergoing staffing transitions, ensuring high-quality service and patient safety.

Location: Sparks, NV
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks) with potential for contract-to-hire

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide expert immunization services as a certified immunizing pharmacist
  • Manage retail pharmacy operations effectively, including patient counseling and medication therapy management
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adapt quickly to evolving site needs during staffing transitions
  • Utilize ERx software (training provided)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Nevada pharmacist license in good standing is required
  • Proven retail pharmacy experience is essential
  • Immunization certification required
  • Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills
