Pharmacy Technician Chemo/IV Travel(TX)

They are looking for someone with inpatient experience as well as a flexible schedule. Qualifications:

• TX license, other states preferred
• PTCB required
• Inpatient experience
• Chemo/IV trained

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of IV medications for patients
• IVs/TPNs/Chemo
• Receiving and verifying the prescriptions
• Pricing and filling of prescriptions
• Obtaining the pharmacist’s approval
• Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of a prescription
• Assisting with insurance claims processing (usually a pharmacist will handle this, but an assistant’s help will be needed – the entire process is done online)
