Pharmacy Technician- Portland, OR

About the Position: As an outpatient/retail pharmacy technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists and ensuring efficient operations in our refill pharmacy. Your primary responsibility will be to process prescription refills accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Job Details:

• Shifts: Sunday to Friday, 6 am to 3:30 pm.
• Immediate start: This position is available for immediate placement.
• Duration: This is a 13-week position.

Ideal Candidate:

• Possesses a valid pharmacy technician license in the state of Oregon (OR license).
• Has a minimum of 6 years of experience working in a retail/outpatient pharmacy setting.
• Demonstrates excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations, including prescription processing and customer service.
• Displays exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and thrives under pressure.
• Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process prescription refills accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining proper inventory levels, including restocking shelves and monitoring expiration dates.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering inquiries and resolving any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety and quality assurance protocols.
