Soliant is working with a school district in the Oxford NC area looking for a Physical Therapist to join there team in a school based setting.

Physical therapist Physical therapy is a healthcare specialty that includes the evaluation, assessment, and treatment of individuals with limitations in functional mobility. Physical therapy services are provided by physical therapists, who are professionals licensed by the state in which they work. Physical therapists (or PTs, as they are commonly called) are required to have a master's degree or a clinical doctorate degree from an accredited institution and must sit for a licensing exam to practice. They are trained to assess your condition and help you regain maximal functional mobility and independence

Details :

  • Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.
  • Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health.
  • Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries
  • Requirements :

  • Must be licensed through the State of NC
  • All programs offer a Doctor of Physical Therapy ( DPT ) degree . DPT programs typically last 3 years. Many programs require a bachelor's degree for admission as well as specific educational prerequisites , such as classes in anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, and physics.
