**Job Title: Contract Physical Therapist**

**Description:**
The Clackamas Education Service District is seeking a dedicated Contract Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. The PT will play a crucial role in evaluating students' individual needs and determining the relationship between their development and current academic and physical performance. This position involves collaborating with special education teachers and other education staff to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and designing and implementing therapy services for students within local school district programs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate students' individual needs and assess their current academic and physical performance.
- Collaborate with special education teachers and education staff to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Design and implement direct or consultative therapy services for students within local school district programs.
- Supervise Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) as assigned.
- Provide support to LEEP classrooms across the county (TBD).
- Manage a caseload (TBD) focusing on the motor needs of students.
- Ensure in-person service delivery; virtual services are not viable for this position.
- Collaborate with a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists (OTs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), nurses, and teachers.
- Work closely with PTs and PTAs within the program.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Oregon.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in various settings and with diverse student populations.
**Additional Information:**
- FTE Range: 0.2 to 0.5 FTE
- Limited caseload; focus on program motor needs of students.
- Position requires in-person services; virtual services are not viable.
- This position cannot be substituted with a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
