Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a reputable school district near Wichita, Kansas. The position is for the full school year, providing stability and continuity for both you and the students you will serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert physical therapy services to students in the school district.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical capabilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to design and implement interventions that support students' academic and functional success.
  • Assist in creating a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring accessibility for all students.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Educate students, families, and staff members on best practices for maintaining physical health and well-being.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and developments in the field of physical therapy, integrating new techniques and approaches into practice.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Kansas state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality care and support to students with diverse needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school-based physical therapy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to different school locations within the district as needed.
