Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Kingsland, IN. The PT/PTA will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall function and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • For Physical Therapist (PT):

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical therapy needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
    • Provide hands-on therapy and utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
    • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
    • Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
    • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy practices.
  • For Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

    • Assist the PT in implementing and monitoring individualized treatment plans for patients.
    • Provide hands-on therapy under the supervision of the PT, including exercises and therapeutic modalities.
    • Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the PT.
    • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and home exercise programs.
    • Collaborate with the PT and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • For Physical Therapist (PT):

    • Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
    • Valid PT license in Indiana.
    • Certification in any specialty areas is a plus.
    • Strong clinical skills and experience in patient evaluation and treatment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • For Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):

    • Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
    • Valid PTA license in Indiana.
    • Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
    • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapeutic techniques.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
