Are you a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist seeking an exciting opportunity to work with students in Jonesboro, Georgia for the '23-'24 school year? Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' motor skills, mobility, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' physical goals
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
- Provide guidance and support to school staff regarding students' physical needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure in Physical Therapy (Georgia licensure preferred)
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload is desirable
- Knowledge of motor development, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
