Pinehurst, NC: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist

Calling on North-Carolina-licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about working with elementary school aged children! Soliant is working with a school in Pinehurst, NC, and is seeking a contract provider for the remainder of the school year.

Applicants will cover a caseload of 44 students, aged preK to 5th grade. A group of students are in cross-categorical classrooms.

• Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
• Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
• Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
• Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
• Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
• Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

• North Carolina SLP license--applicants with a pending license are advised to provide a best estimate of their licensure date before interviews
