Pre-K to 8th Grade Onsite Social Worker for 2023/2024 - Troy, MI

We currently have full-time contract onsite positions available for an experienced, passionate, and licensed Social Worker to work fully onsite with Pre-K to 8th grade students for the 2023-2024 school year - located in Troy, MI. 

Caseload: Approx. 30-40 students

Job Duties: 

• Developing and providing crisis intervention strategies to improve student success
• Participate in special education assessment meetings as well as Individual Educational Planning (IEP) meetings

Schedule:

• Fulltime 30 to 32.5 hours per week, minimum and maximum guaranteed (normal school weeks)
• Monday to Friday only
• No overtime 
• No paid holidays or school breaks

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2+ years of supervised post MSW social work experience as a school social worker
• Temporary or full approval for school social work from MDE
• A Masters Degree in School Social Work
• Active Special Services Provider license 
• An active Social Worker Michigan Teaching License in Social Work (MSW or LCSW)
• Prior experience working with students with autism, communication deficits, and cognitive impairments
