Contract Details:

• Position: Pharmacy Technician
• Setting: Closed-Door
• Type: 4-6 Week Contract
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, rotating weekends (1pm-9:30pm)
• Start: ASAP
• Location: Union City, CA

A Qualified Candidate Will Have:

• Active Pharmacist Technician license in good standing in the state of California.
• Minimum of 6-months experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Full-Time, Immediate availability, required.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense prescription medications in accordance with established procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
• Review and verify prescription orders to confirm accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies or issues as needed.
• Properly label and package medications, including unit-dose and multi-dose packaging, while adhering to specific packaging guidelines and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Perform routine quality control checks on medications, equipment, and workspaces to uphold the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
• Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy’s computer system, including patient data, medication details, and billing information.
