Production Technician - Specialty Closed-Door Pharmacy- NY

We are a specialty closed-door pharmacy seeking a highly motivated Production Technician to assist with filling/dispensing, data entry, and other duties as needed. Our pharmacy plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services to our clients.

Location: Albany, NY

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with a high possibility of extension for 10-13 weeks if a good match is found.

Shift Options:
Option 1: Monday, Wednesday - 2pm to 10pm; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 10am to 6pm (One weekend a month)
Option 2: Tuesday, Thursday - 2pm to 10pm; Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 10am to 6pm (One weekend a month)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the filling and dispensing of medications accurately and efficiently
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of prescriptions
• Follow established procedures and protocols for handling medications and maintaining inventory
• Support other pharmacy duties and tasks as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
• NY Tech License (if available), PTCB certification preferred but not required
