Soliant Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist for a full-time position for the 23/24 school year. Join our team and work collaboratively with educators, students, and families to support the social-emotional well-being and academic success of K-8th grade students. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement appropriate interventions and strategies.
- Participate in the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) process to identify and address students' needs at various levels of support.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of concerns, such as behavior management, social skills, and academic motivation.
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop and implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) systems.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide ongoing support.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to support the overall success of students.
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois State License or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, counseling techniques, and evidence-based interventions.
- Familiarity with the MTSS process and PBIS systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
