Psychologist position near Wooster, OH!

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychologist to join our team near Wooster, Ohio. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic support to individuals of all ages, helping them understand and address their mental health concerns. Job Details: 

• Full - Time (37.5 hours/week)
• Caseload: PreK - 12th grade 
• 23 - 24 SY 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of clients.
• Administer and interpret standardized tests and assessments to gather relevant information for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and interventions.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' specific needs.
• Address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral disorders.
• Implement psychoeducational programs to enhance clients' coping skills, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, regularly evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Offer guidance and support to clients' families, providing education on mental health topics and strategies for support at home.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of Ohio.
• Previous experience as a Psychologist, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments.
