Ashville, North Carolina - School Psychologist
We are currently scheduling interviews for a School Psychologist for a district just east of the Ashville area. The school is about an hour from Morganton, North Carolina and two hours from Greeneville, Tennessee so candidates from both states are encouraged to apply.
The district is currently scheduling interviews through Soliant Health, and is looking to hire and start quickly. The opening is full time, but the school is flexible willing to work with a candidate who can only work part time. Candidates will be working a contract assignment for the full school year. The School Psychologist will perform standard school psych duties, such as completing evaluations, report writing, counseling, etc. Candidates should be comfortable working with students of all ages and should hold an active School Psych certification from the North Carolina Board of Education.
School Psychologist Need
Full Time or Part Time (school is flexible and will work with your schedule)
Full School Year
School Psych Duties:
- Itinerant Position working with K -12 students over the whole district along with another district based School Psychologists
- Intellectual and Psychological testing and Report Writing
- Assessments, evaluations, IEPs/504 Meetings
Master’s Level Degree in School or Educational Psychology
North Carolina School Psychologist Certification
