Radiation Therapist (Temp to Perm) in California

Soliant Health is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis in California. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy to cancer patients under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Position patients for treatment and ensure accuracy of treatment setup
• Monitor patient's progress during treatment and report any side effects or issues to the radiation oncologist
• Educate patients about the radiation therapy process and potential side effects
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatment

Requirements:

• Active Radiation Therapist license in California
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work day and evening shifts as needed
