Radiation Therapist - Burlington, WI

Deliver critical therapies and work collaboratively in a specialized radiation oncology department dedicated to adult cancer care. In this contract role, you'll use advanced linear accelerator technology, focusing on delivering high-quality patient treatment and compassionate support. Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekends, no on-call, and no holiday shifts

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year experience with Varian True Beam and Aria software
• Proficient in administering radiation treatments using linear accelerators
• Previous exposure to a patient load averaging 20-45 adults per day
• Comfortable handling a 2:1 patient ratio
• Familiarity with common cancer diagnoses in the adult population

Preferred Background:

• Skills in Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer accurate radiation treatments to adults, adhering to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
• Maintain meticulous records in Aria EMR
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, RNs, providers, and leadership
• Participate in orientation to become comfortable with department protocols, equipment, and workflow
• Uphold infection prevention standards and wear solid-color scrubs
• Maintain a consistently patient-centered approach to care
