A position is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist in Durham, NC, with a contract opportunity lasting approximately 13 weeks. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• Certification as ARRT R.T (T)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Varian Truebeam technology and EPIC software
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including 4x10 or 5x8-hour shifts (typical hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with flexibility from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
• No additional license required for this role

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering prescribed radiation treatment plans with precision and care
• Operating radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Monitoring patient responses and managing any side effects in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Maintaining accurate patient records in electronic systems such as EPIC
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible shifts: option of four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days
