Radiation Therapist | New Hartford, New York

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Radiation Therapist eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic Radiation Oncology setting. Located in New Hartford, NY, this contract position offers the chance to work closely with cutting-edge technology to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include:

• Administering radiation treatments using Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam systems
• Performing patient simulations with Siemens CT large bore technology
• Utilizing Electronic Medical Records, including ARIA and EPIC systems, to document and track patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols throughout treatment courses

Schedule and Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs
• Standard 8-hour shifts totaling 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid New York State Radiation Therapy license
• Proficient with Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam radiation equipment
• Experience with Siemens CT large bore for patient simulation
• Competent in EMR software such as ARIA and EPIC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and coordinate care

This role requires adherence to a 75-mile radius travel policy; however, local candidates within this range will be compensated at a local rate.
