Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with behavioral needs? We are looking for dedicated and serious Paraeducators or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our school district in Riverside, CA. This is a full-time position for the full school year, with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

Position Type: Full-Time / Full School Year (FSY) - 35 Hours per Week

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with students with behavioral needs.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an RBT background.
  • Willingness to assist with toileting as needed.
  • Flexibility is a must; assignments are provided the day before they start.
  • Serious commitment to starting and making a difference in our students' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with behavioral needs in a classroom setting.
  • Implement behavioral intervention plans as directed by the supervising behavior specialist or teacher.
  • Assist with academic and behavioral assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with students and their families.
  • Support students with toileting needs as required.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and classroom environments.
