Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Summer and 2023/2024 school-year Position

Location: Oak Brook, IL area

Company: Soliant Education, working with a local school district 

Job Type: Part-Time (Summer) / Full-Time 2023/2024 school-year

• Summer : June 5th - June 28th, Monday to Thursday, 8:15 am - 11:45 am
• 2023/2024 school year: Starting August 16th, 2023, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Soliant is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This position involves working with a 9th grade student and providing behavior intervention services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role will initially be for the summer program with an opportunity to continue into the 23/24 School Year.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA.
• Collect and record data on student progress during sessions.
• Assist the student in acquiring and practicing adaptive skills.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding the student's progress.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Experience working with children or adolescents with special needs, specifically in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and principles of ABA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with special needs.

Contract Details: This is a W2 contracted position for the summer and 2023/2024 school-year through Soliant Education

Hourly pay, negotiable based on experience of applicant and school budget. Weekly pay, every Friday.
Applicant is not paid for school breaks or holidays.
