Soliant is working with a school district near Basehor, KS to find a RBT to join their team! The Behavior Technician role will implement skill acquisition protocols and behavior reduction programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the school settings.
Details
- Elementary Autism and/or ED Specialized classroom caseload options
- Full-time; Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/ week
- Renewals available for next year
- Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct student care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Collaborate with the treatment team including the student, parents, other caregivers, and providers
- Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures when working with students
Requirements:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children (0-16 years old) in a 1:1 setting or in a classroom, implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis Preferred
- CPI Certification or De-escalation training Preferred
Compensation:
- Negotiable and competitive hourly rate based on experience
