Registered Behavior Technician (near Livermore, CA)- Fulltime

Soliant is currently assisting a district near the Livermore, California area that is need of some Registered Behavior Technicians. The position would be full time for the 2023-2024 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with autism and related developmental disabilities.
• Provide one-on-one support and instruction to help students achieve their behavioral and academic goals.
• Collect data on student progress and behavior, making data-driven decisions for intervention strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), special education teachers, and support staff.
• Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment by promoting social and behavioral skills development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to ensure continuity of care and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Experience working with elementary students in a 1:1 setting preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to various caseloads based on experience and preference.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Dedication to promoting a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
