Educational Requirements and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
Position Details:
- Location: San Ramon, California.
- K-12 district with caseload assigned by experience and preference.
- Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm or 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Primarily 1:1 support for elementary students.
- Options for both Mild to Moderate (Mild Mod) and Moderate to Severe (Mod Sever) caseloads depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide one-on-one support to students.
- Utilize positive behavior support techniques to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure consistent and effective implementation of strategies.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students with behavioral needs.
- Familiarity with both Mild Mod and Mod Sever interventions, depending on experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dedication to making a positive impact on students' lives.
