Registered Behavior Technician

Title: Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician for 1:1 Caseload

Position: Full-Time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 3:00pm, 5 days per week

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician to work with a student in a 1:1 setting. This is a full-time position with a contract ending on June 7th, 2024. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to supporting students with behavior challenges and a willingness to collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide behavior support to a student with behaviors that impede their ability to focus in class and engage in learning
- Collaborate with the student's team to develop and implement effective behavior plans and interventions
- Document and monitor student behavior progress and provide regular updates to the team
- Provide ongoing support to the student throughout the school day
- Communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, and family members to ensure the student's success

Requirements:

- Valid RBT certification
- Experience working with students with disabilities and behavior challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
