Registered Nurse (BSN) - Extended School Year (ESY) Near Greenwood Village, CO

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (BSN) to join our team and provide healthcare services in the Extended School Year (ESY) program at our elementary and secondary sites in Greenwood Village, CO. This is a part-time position with hours approximately from 7:45 am to 12:15 pm. As a nurse in the ESY program, you will primarily work on a one-to-one basis with a student, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the program.

Pay:$35/hr-$45/hr

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a student in the ESY program.
• Administer medications, perform health assessments, and manage any medical needs of the student.
• Monitor and respond to any medical emergencies or health-related issues.
• Collaborate with the school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for the student.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation.
• Follow state and federal regulations regarding healthcare practices in school settings.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on the student's healthcare needs.
• Communicate effectively with the student, parents, and staff regarding health-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current and valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Previous experience working as a nurse in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices and procedures.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work the specified hours during the ESY program.
