Registered Nurse (RN) needed for School Year 23/24 near Watkins, CO
We are seeking qualified and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team in Watkins, CO. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with experience in school health or a related field. They will be responsible for ensuring that students receive the health care they need and that their health needs are met. They will also be responsible for providing education and guidance to students and staff on health and safety matters.
Location: Watkins, CO
Start date: 23/24 School Year
Part Time: 20 hours/week
Responsibilities:

• Providing healthcare services to students and staff, including administering medication and treatments, first aid, and emergency care.
• Educating students, staff, and parents on health and wellness topics.

• Managing student health records and maintaining confidentiality.
• Developing and implementing individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Additionally, the nurse is required to conduct all vision/hearing screenings, provide written input to each IEPs present level statement, support and lead in the development of a/rude NTS health plan if required as a part of the IEP, or Section 504 plan and attend IEP/Section 504 meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• CO RN license required.
• Candidate needs to have an interest in the school setting w/ experience.
