Registered Respiratory Therapist Assignment in Germantown MD

Our healthcare facility is seeking a highly qualified Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Germantown, MD. The ideal candidate will be NBRC credentialed and have experience working with adult populations in various clinical settings, including the delivery room, adult ICU, and ER.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct respiratory assessments and implement appropriate respiratory care plans for adult patients
• Provide airway management for both adults and neonates, including intubation and extubation
• Manage ventilator and bipap settings for adult patients
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Utilize Istat and Avox technology for monitoring and documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Respiratory Therapy license
• NBRC credentialed
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult ICU, ER, and delivery room settings
• Experience with airway management in both adult and neonatal populations
• Experience with ventilator and bipap management
• Experience with Istat technology preferred
• Avox experience preferred

This is a full-time, 13-week travel assignment with the potential for extension. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including travel and housing allowances.
