Registered Respiratory Therapist (Nights) Charlotte, NC - 26 Week Travel Contract

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 26 weeks

Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am (36 hours per week)

Main Location: LCH Region 1 Float

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Additional Requirements:

• LCH RRTs must have documented experience in Pediatrics (Peds), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) listed in their resume, specifying the facilities where this experience was gained.

About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 26-week travel contract in Charlotte, NC. This position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, totaling 36 hours per week. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will be assigned to the LCH Region 1 Float.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments following physician orders
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement comprehensive respiratory care plans
• Act promptly in emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques and equipment usage

Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT, and NRP certifications
• Proven experience in Pediatrics (Peds), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), with specific details of facilities where this experience was gained.
