Remote Physical Therapist (Illinois School District Position)

Soliant Education, a reputable educational staffing agency, is partnering with an Illinois school district to prescreen, interview and hire a Physical Therapist. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with an on-site facilitator to provide exceptional physical therapy services to students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities and needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' goals and IEP requirements.
• Provide remote therapy sessions using appropriate techniques and interventions.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student care.
• Document all therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant ethical and legal standards.

Requirements:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a school setting (highly preferred).
• Strong background in pediatric physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
• Proficient in using technology platforms for remote therapy sessions.
• Tech screening will be conducted prior to the interview process.

Note: This is a 1099 contract position, and compensation will be commensurate with experience. 

Training and unlimited ZOOM platform, toolkit, tech and clinical team support are provided by Soliant/VocoVision. 

Compensation: 

• 1099 contracted position for the 2023/24 school year.
• Contract renewals are available if desired.
• Hourly rate, negotiable based on qualifications and experience of applicant.
• Paid for all hours worked.
• Weekly pay, every Friday.
• Guaranteed hours while school is in session.
