Remote, Special Education position in Indiana

Virtual, Special Education Teacher in Indiana 

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Special Education Teacher to join a school virtually in Indiana. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, and collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the success of all students.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time positions for the upcoming 23-24 school year
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Design and deliver effective virtual instruction that meets the needs of individual students
• Adapt materials and provide assistive technology to support student learning
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
• Monitor and assess student progress, and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the success of all students
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and attendance
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed of student progress and any concerns
• Attend virtual meetings and professional development sessions as required

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Special Education
• Indiana teaching certification in Special Education
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Virtual experience required
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must pass our tech screen 
• 1099 contract position with liability insurance
