Remote Speech Pathologist School Position in California

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a flexible remote opportunity? Soliant is currently looking for a dedicated and skilled SLP to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a 1099 contract position that allows you to work remotely from anywhere within California. The caseload will primarily focus on providing speech and language services to preschool students.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions through telepractice
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' communication and language goals
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers for supporting speech and language development at home
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current California state licensure or eligible for licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with preschool-aged students
- Proficient in using telepractice platforms and technology for virtual therapy sessions
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and AAC devices suitable for remote delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage caseload remotely
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping
