Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients in diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and home care environments. Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus an Associate degree in Respiratory Care
- Current and active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience or new graduate with strong recommendations
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
- OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certification within 3 months of hire
- Proven experience in Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) is essential
Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory therapy accurately and safely across multiple care settings
- Maintain professional behavior and effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors
- Manage time efficiently and produce timely, well-documented reports
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keep accurate records and maintain patient confidentiality
- Demonstrate proficiency in using office technology and Microsoft Office applications
- Participate actively in evaluations, continuing education, and meetings
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and assume temporary different roles as needed
- Frequent mobility including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Must function independently and maintain professional integrity
