Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Burney, CA

Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients in diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and home care environments. Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus an Associate degree in Respiratory Care
• Current and active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience or new graduate with strong recommendations
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
• OSHA Respirator Fit Testing certification within 3 months of hire
• Proven experience in Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) is essential

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy accurately and safely across multiple care settings
• Maintain professional behavior and effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors
• Manage time efficiently and produce timely, well-documented reports
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Keep accurate records and maintain patient confidentiality
• Demonstrate proficiency in using office technology and Microsoft Office applications
• Participate actively in evaluations, continuing education, and meetings

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and assume temporary different roles as needed
• Frequent mobility including sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Must function independently and maintain professional integrity
