A healthcare facility in Arden, NC, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care support on a 13-week contract. This role requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least one year of experience in critical care and specialized skills including intubation, ventilator management, and C-section patient care. Key Qualifications:

Schedule and Work Details:

• 12-hour night shifts: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Up to 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation or holidays)
• No blocked scheduling; scheduling flexibility required
• Float to multiple inpatient units throughout the hospital
• Every other weekend rotation; no on-call or call-back required
• Orientation available on both days and nights

Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory therapy services across multiple inpatient units, including ICU and ED
• Manage ventilator settings and respiratory treatments accurately
• Perform intubation as needed with critical care patients, including post-C-section cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
