A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist seeking a contract position in Fortuna, CA. This role offers a consistent schedule with night shifts and a guaranteed 36 hours per week, making it suitable for those who prefer stable, structured work hours.

Fortuna, CA, is a charming city located in Northern California's Humboldt County. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities and an inviting community atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including administering therapies and conducting diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-specific care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed based on clinical assessments
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility protocols
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for use

Qualifications:

  • Active California Respiratory Therapist license required
  • Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Proof of a negative TB test within 12 months of contract start
  • Ability and willingness to work night shifts
  • Strong clinical skills and patient-focused approach

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week
  • 36 hours guaranteed weekly
