Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Holt, Michigan

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract position is based in Holt, Michigan, offering an engaging and rewarding role delivering life-saving respiratory therapies to patients in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units. The schedule includes working three 12-hour night shifts every other weekend, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, supporting continuous patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer life-support, resuscitation, and medical gas therapies under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor
• Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic respiratory procedures
• Maintain clinical expertise and adapt to assignments across various business units
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, co-workers, and other healthcare team members regarding patient needs
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately for clinical and billing purposes
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, orient new staff, externs, and students

Desired Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and diagnostic procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in critical care or intensive care settings preferred
