Respiratory Therapist | Medina, Ohio

Provide advanced respiratory care as a skilled Respiratory Therapist in a contract role located in Medina, OH. This position involves performing essential respiratory therapy procedures with minimal supervision, supporting patient respiratory health through a variety of clinical skills and diligent patient monitoring.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing mechanical ventilation and medicated aerosol delivery
• Administering airway clearance therapy and oxygen/humidity therapy
• Monitoring patients’ respiratory status and responses to treatment
• Conducting special procedures including CPR, specialty gas administration, bronchoscopy assistance, and patient transport
• Adhering to all policies, maintaining patient confidentiality under Protected Health Information (PHI) standards
• Completing orientation successfully and undertaking additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license valid in Ohio
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs, and frequent standing/walking
• Strong communication skills and constant coordination during patient care activities
