A hospital in Idaho is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists for a 13-week contract assignment. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care services for adult, pediatric, and NICU patients in a fast-paced inpatient setting. Qualified therapists will deliver treatments, manage respiratory equipment, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted with 3-5 years of experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience for RRTs, 3-5 years for CRTs
- BLS, ACLS certifications for adult care; PALS for pediatrics; NRP for NICU
- Experience using NAVA ventilation on Servo C ventilators for NICU patients preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 36-42 treatments per 12-hour shift or 12-14 every 4 hours
- Capable of providing care to adult, pediatric, and NICU patients across various floors
- Skilled in respiratory equipment such as Draeger and Servo U vents, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, Optiflow, and specialized airway clearance devices
- Must be able to assist with intubations; independent intubations not required
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage respiratory therapy equipment
- Perform transport and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
- Provide expert respiratory support and collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and other healthcare providers
- Float between hospital locations as needed, including Meridian and Nampa medical centers
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain professional appearance and conduct
Schedule & Work Environment:
- 3 night shifts per week, typically 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Weekend rotation every other weekend; holiday work required if scheduled
- No call or standby on-call duties
- Orientation includes 2-3 shifts tailored to assigned care areas
- Respiratory therapy team is well staffed with leads on every shift
