Respiratory Therapist Travel Assignment in Cortland NY

We are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Cortland, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate respiratory care plans
• Administer aerosol medications and perform airway management procedures
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status
• Perform diagnostic tests and provide education to patients and their families
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active RRT or CRT certification
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• At least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to travel
