Title: Pharmacy Manager
Location: Grand View, MI
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Duration: Permanent
Schedule: Variable days/ afternoons- 40 hrs per week 
Start Date: ASAP 2 weeks from offer

Responsibilities: As the Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our retail pharmacy in Grand View. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR) and other Medication Therapy Management (MTM) activities effectively.
• Operating, training, and expanding the medication synchronization program.
• Providing immunizations in accordance with certification requirements.
• Collaborating with the Specialty team to ensure proper communication and management of specialty medications.
• Hiring and terminating pharmacy team members (in collaboration with the Operations Manager, if applicable).
• Reviewing the patient transfer report on a monthly basis.
• Establishing accurate job descriptions and expectations for all pharmacy staff.
• Conducting meaningful and timely annual Performance Reviews for pharmacy teammates.
• Managing pharmacist scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.
• Overseeing the training and development of pharmacy technicians.
• Managing inventory, including vendor returns, interstore transfers, and removal of outdated products.
• On-Call
• Being present for all store events and important/key activities.
• Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the pharmacy area.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid Michigan pharmacist license.
• Possess current CPR certification.
• Have an Immunization Certificate.
• Have 1-2 years of experience in managing a pharmacy.
• PharmD or MTM certification is preferred.
