Retail/LTC Production Pharmacy Technician - Queens, NY

Job responsibilities:

• Receive prescriptions and check their validity
• Fill, pull, and dispense medications
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards
• Labeling compounded IV bags and syringes.
• Packing labeled products to prepare for shipping
• Adhering to any SOP's 
• Keeping labeling area clean and stocked with any necessary supplies.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service skills
• At least 1 year experience in pharmacy (preferred)

Hours: Mix of days/evenings and rotating weekends
Duration: 13 weeks (Contract to Hire
